Troop Upgrade 

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new troop upgrading feature in the game. This feature allows you to upgrade your lower-tier troops to the highest tier, making them more powerful and efficient in battle.

How it works

To upgrade your troops, simply go to the Barracks and look for the green arrow next to the lower-tier troops. 

Click on the desired troop tier and press the two green arrows on the top right to upgrade. Choose the number of troops you want to upgrade and press Upgrade. 

Please note that while you have an active troop upgrading, you will not be able to train troops. As per game mechanics, you are not allowed to have two ongoing troop training actions simultaneously, and the new upgrade troops action works just like a train one.

Remember that troop training speed-ups can be used to upgrade troops, and points will be granted for training in the Train Event. Moreover, if you choose to train lower-tier troops and then upgrade them to the higher tier, it will cost you precisely the same as to train the higher tier in the first place, so think about your strategy beforehand and use this feature to your advantage. 

It is important to keep in mind that you can only upgrade troops to your highest unlocked troop tier. For instance, if you have unlocked troop tier 3 in your research, you will be able to upgrade lower-tier troops directly to tier 3. Therefore, you will not be able to upgrade tier 1 troops to tier 2 but only to tier 3.

What is the cost of upgrading troops?

• The cost is the difference between training the higher tier troops and training the lower tier troops you wish to upgrade (lower tier train cost + upgrade cost = higher tier train cost).
• The same applies to instant train actions, where the price is in Gold. 

How do I speed up troop upgrades?

• You can use train speed-ups for train upgrades as well.

Can I upgrade more troops at the same time?

• No, you can upgrade one type of troop at a time. 

Can I train and upgrade troops at the same time?

• No, you can either train or upgrade troops at a time; these actions cannot happen simultaneously.

Can I earn points in the Train Event from upgrading troops?

• Yes, upgrading troops gives points in the Train event and all other Events where training troops grant points.
