Alliance Duel Event Rules

Alliance Duel

A new and exciting Alliance Event is here! Alliances from every State compete against each other in pairs of two. We invite you to gather around and put your Alliance's might to the supremacy test on a new Event Map.

The Alliance Duel Event will allow you to team up with your alliance members and battle against other alliances for rewards and glory.

Keep in mind that during this event, your troops cannot die and will all be healed at the end of the event when you're sent back to your home State. However, if you choose to heal troops during the Battle Stage of the event, you will consume resources. Resources will also be lost if you are in a battle with another player and lose, as per the usual game mechanics.

We hope you enjoy this new type of Event, and we look forward to hearing about your experience!

Alliance Duel Rules

All players can view the Event banner and rules (Event Interface appears in Upcoming Events for all players).

When you tap on the Event, you will find a synopsis with all the essential information: Event rules, Alliance scores, the benefits for occupying each building, Event milestones and rewards, ranking, and more.

This is an injured-only Event. Therefore you needn't worry about casualties.

At the end of the Event, all injured troops that are still in the Duel Hospital will be restored and healed. You will also recover your shield. Remember, if you activate a more extended shield while in the Duel Town, the old shield will be annulled and the new one will be active when you return to your home State.

You will be able to teleport back to your home State at your own will in the first 10 minutes after the Battle ends. Otherwise, the system will attempt to teleport you back to your initial location at the end of the Battle or will randomly teleport you to your home State's Map if that is unavailable.

Should you need to leave the Duel Town Map, you can do this at any point during the Battle Stage and automatically unregister from the Event. Keep in mind that once you leave Duel Town, you will automatically unregister from the Event and won't be able to return to finish the Event.

The Event will have five stages: the Registration Stage, the Matching Stage, the Preparation Stage, and the Actual Battle, followed by the usual Claiming Period. Let's take a sneak peek at what their requirements are.

Registration Stage

During the 24 hours of the Registration stage, if your Alliance is at least seven days old, the R5s and R4s of Alliances from each State will be able to enroll up to 30 of their most trusted members on the participation list. The list can be edited for the whole period of the Registration Stage, and then it will be locked until the Battle ends. The registered member lists will automatically be saved for the next Alliance Duel Events, so you won't have to start all over again.

Keep in mind that the matchmaking process will take into consideration the total power of the enrolled members. This means that the more members you enroll, the more powerful your team will be.

But beware! Based on the power of the enrolled members, you will be matched with a similarly strong alliance. Therefore, we encourage you to make sure that all enrolled players are able to log in and contribute to the team's success when the Battle stage begins. Remember, you will be matched with a powerful alliance, and it will take all of your manpower to come out victorious.

Alliance Leaders will receive a text notification when the Registration Stage is opened. If, on the other hand, an Alliance misses the 24-hour registration window, a "Not registered" text will appear in the Event banner. Remember that your Alliance must be at least seven days old to be eligible for the Battle.

Beware! Members who join or leave the Alliance after the Registration Stage ends can no longer partake in the ongoing Event. If they are in the Duel Town, they will also be removed from the Duel Town.

Matchmaking and Preparation

Once the Registration Stage ends, from the list of Registered Alliances, only those who rank by power in the top 20 Alliances of their State move into the Matchmaking stage, which lasts 6 hours.

In future editions of the game, Alliances will be put into four brackets following the win rate of their previous games. The matchmaking will take into consideration the following win rates: 100% to 75%, 75% to 50%, 50% to 25%, and 25% and below. Based on this, each Alliance will be paired with another Alliance whose power of its registered members is the closest match. The matchmaking algorithm will also ensure that the same opponents do not match too often, especially regarding Alliances from the same State.

If your Alliance is selected to play in the Alliance Duel Event, when the matchmaking is over, you will receive an in-game message announcing which Alliance you are up against. You can now start fine-tuning your strategy, training troops, prepping your gear and supplies, and synchronizing with your allies.

The preparation stage lasts 24 hours, enough time to develop a winning strategy.

The Battle Stage

Right before the Battle, players registered to play will receive a notification announcing that the action is about to start.

Now it's time for the Battle to begin! For one hour straight, registered members of the paired Alliances will fight for supremacy in the Duel Town, a brand new location with its own map!

Eight types of buildings will be up for grabs, giving extra points and bonuses for the first occupation. You can find out what bonuses each building offers by accessing the Alliance Duel Event in the Event Menu.

Conquer buildings on the map to win the Event, and mind both the advantages each building has to offer and the constraints you will have to overcome, such as the limited number of times you can teleport.

Note that while you'll have a maximum of 20 teleport moves granted per Alliance, players must use their own Advanced Teleport Items, so remember to make sure you have them at hand. Remember that occupying Train Stations has its perks when it comes to extra teleport moves, so check them out! Once you occupy one, each minute holding a Train Station will grant you more Teleport times, so occupying some will come in handy.

Please note that Blacksmith Wagons that spawn later in the Battle have the advantage of giving points without requiring to be occupied with as many troops as other buildings. This can provide Alliances with lower power but more members a higher chance of devising a winning strategy for the Event.

When you start rallies against your enemies, you will be able to see them in the Rally point from the Alliance Menu, as always.

You can attack and rally as many adversaries as you want because your troops will not die! Instead, they will end up in the Unlimited Duel Hospital. During the Battle, you can heal as many troops as you want, but even if they don't, they will automatically be healed at the end of the Battle Stage.

When the Battle Stage ends, all the buildings will disappear from the map, and all the troops you have spread on the map will instantly return to your base. If you still have injured troops in your Duel Hospital, they will all be restored and healed.

After the hour-long Battle Stage is over, you have a 10-minute interval in which you can remain in the Duel Town or leave it by selecting "Leave Duel Town". If you don't choose to teleport in this interval,  you will automatically be teleported back to your home State, and your shield will be reinstated.

Points and Prizes

You can score both Alliance Points and Player Points in this Event. Note that Alliance Points are not the sum of all Player Points. While Player Points are also offered for injuring troops, Alliance Points are not.

During the Battle Stage, there are two different tracks of prizes for the Losing and Winning Alliance. Both Alliances can collect prizes from the "Participation" track as they unlock during the Battle Stage. When one Alliance wins the Event, the winning rewards will unlock at the end of the Event just for them.

There is also a separate Participation prize! Participation rewards are unlocked at the end of the Event for Alliances if they score at least 1 point during the Battle Stage.

Seasons

A new layer of progression has been added to the Alliance Duel Event: Seasons

Seasons allow alliances to track their performance and compete for global rankings over multiple Alliance Duel events, giving long-term goals and rewards beyond a single battle. By participating consistently, your alliance can earn prestige, climb the leaderboard, and unlock exclusive rewards at the end of the season.

The Seasons section in the Event Menu is your hub for tracking your alliance’s journey. Here, you can see how your alliance stacks up against others, plan for upcoming battles, and watch your progress toward end-of-season rewards.

  • Access the Seasons section in the Event Menu at any time during the season.

  • View your alliance’s current rank, points earned, progress through the season, and a preview of rewards.

  • Seasonal results and leaderboards remain visible for one week after the season ends, allowing you to check final standings and claim rewards.

How Seasons Work

Seasons bring a bigger picture to each Alliance Duel Event, letting your alliance build momentum over time. Your performance in every battle matters, and even alliances that don’t win every event can still maintain their progress.

  • Season Duration: Each season spans multiple Phases, each phase representing one Alliance Duel Event.

  • Global Ranking: Alliances from all States are ranked together on a Season Leaderboard.

  • Points and Progress: After each Alliance Duel battle, alliances earn Seasonal Points based on match outcomes and overall performance. Tap the View All Alliance button to check the rankings of the current phase

  • Participation Matters: Alliances must participate in at least one event to appear on the Season Leaderboard.

Seasonal Points and Rewards

Seasonal Points

Seasonal Points measure your alliance’s success throughout the season and determine your position on the global leaderboard.

Points are awarded after each Alliance Duel Event based on battle outcome, overall activity, and performance in the match. These points are separate from Player Points, Alliance Points, and event milestones.

How Seasonal Points are Earned

Seasonal Points are calculated from multiple factors:

1. Battle Outcome

Each match grants base Seasonal Points depending on the result:

  • Victory: +70 Seasonal Points

  • Defeat: No base Seasonal Points

  • No-Show: -30 Seasonal Points
(A No-Show occurs if an alliance scores 0 points or has no active participants, but they were registered and matched with another alliance.)

2. Activity Points (Based on Alliance Score)

All participating alliances earn additional Seasonal Points based on their total battle score, regardless of victory or defeat.

Alliance Score

Seasonal Points

1 – 49,999

10

50,000 – 149,999

20

150,000 – 249,999

30

250,000+

40

These points ensure that active participation contributes to your alliance’s overall progress, even in challenging battles.

3. Close Defeat Bonus

Alliances that narrowly lose a match can earn additional Seasonal Points through the Close Defeat Bonus.

  • Awarded if the losing alliance reaches at least 80% of the opponent’s score

  • The bonus increases based on how close the final result is

  • Can grant up to 35 additional Seasonal Points

This makes close battles especially valuable and encourages alliances to stay competitive until the very end.

Season Rewards

At the end of a season, the top alliances receive special rewards:

  • Top 1 Alliance: Exclusive title with special bonuses, Season Champion frame, and item rewards for all eligible members

  • Top 10 Alliances: Season Champion frame and item rewards

  • Top 20 Alliances: Item rewards

Season Reward Eligibility

To collect end-of-season rewards, a player must meet both of the following conditions:

  • Be a member of the winning alliance at the end of the Season

  • Have scored at least one point for an alliance during the Season

Additional Notes

  • Seasonal Points are updated after each Alliance Duel Event.

  • Alliances that do not participate in an event will not earn points for that Phase.

  • Seasonal rankings are based on total Seasonal Points earned across all Phases (Events).

Season Tips and Tricks

  • Participate in every Alliance Duel Event: Even if your alliance doesn’t win, staying active helps maintain your ranking.

  • Keep battles competitive: A close score can grant a Close Defeat Bonus, so every point matters, even in a losing match.

  • Avoid missing matches: Not participating in an event can result in lost progress, making it harder to keep up with other alliances.

  • Coordinate with your alliance: Strong teamwork and consistent contributions from members can significantly improve your overall Seasonal performance.

  • Stay in your alliance until the Season ends: To be eligible for top rewards, you must remain in the winning alliance and contribute during the Season.

Leaderboard Tie: If alliances have the same number of Seasonal Points, rankings are determined by the number of wins and total event participation.
