over 90 thousand of my troops disappeared when they just did an update today. several other people said the same thing

My commander and a group sitting on a food tile have disappeared. I thought the problem had been resolved.

I have the majority of my troops back but my commander is still missing. I know he will make it back because he is I and I am him and we shall not lose this war!
